POLIMI gsom REGATTA
TWO DIVISIONS with 2 DIFFERENT RANKINGS: J/24 ONE DESIGN and CRUISE
Once again POLIMI Graduate School of Management is organising an event in the MBA Sailing League: the POLIMI GSoM Regatta.
The MBA Sailing Clubs’ main event welcomes the world’s top Business Schools to enjoy an extraordinary long weekend of sailing and fun.

Two days of sailing in the wonderful Island of Sardinia including entertainment and celebrations with the POLIMI GSoM Sailing Club! Sailing, Networking, Fun...

The objective of the event, given the international character ensured by the participation of Alumni from the most prestigious European Business Schools, is the involvement of companies with absolute prestige in extremely technological fields, representative of Made in Italy entrepreneurship. Companies that attract global attention both for the aspects of innovation that they offer and for the sustainability policies that they adhere to in the pursuit of their objectives.
CAMPIONATO ITALIANO - EUROCUP DOLPHIN 81 - EMANUELE ZAMPIERI
The venue chosen as the operational base for the regatta is located in Sardinia at Cala dei Sardi.
Cala dei Sardi is the largest eco-friendly floating landing place in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, in Sardinia. It is located in the Gulf of Cugnana between Portisco and Porto Rotondo. It is made with Breakwater pontoons and Seaflex anchoring, a system designed by the Finnish Marinetek (a leading company in the construction of floating marinas also used in Miami and Dubai), which combines stability and respect for the natural sea currents, wich are often diverted by the cement installations of traditional marinas.

This year, Cala dei Sardi received the prestigious recognition of the Blue Marina Awards, a prize given to port facilities that stand out for their innovation, commitment to sustainability, quality hospitality and rigorous security measures.

Cala dei Sardi offers the opportunity to introduce participants in the POLIMI GSoM Regatta 2024 to one of the most fascinating and attractive areas of Italy. Gallura and the north-east coast of Sardinia, famous for its sparkling life between the sea and elegant squares, are the jewel in the crown in terms of the quality of what is on offer for tourists. The jagged coasts open onto the turquoise sea of the Costa Smeralda and onto small coves that hide warm beaches with the softest sand.

The Costa Smeralda and the surrounding area offer an exclusive paradise which takes on the austere shape of the Longosardo tower, which dominates the tourist port of Santa Teresa Gallura, and overlooks the La Maddalena Archipelago, an inestimable naturalistic treasure with Spargi, Cala Corsara, Budelli and its pink beach.
In front of the La Maddalena Archipelago, in Palau, the bear-shaped rock that has dominated the bay for centuries and which it shares with the turtle rock, located in Cala Ghjlgolu, is a selfie destination for all visitors. A trip to the island of Caprera offers a wonderful boat trip among transparent seabeds, but also a visit to the house of Giuseppe Garibaldi, whose final resting place will offer unique emotions.
